Our collection consists of one of a kind pieces made of semi-precious metals and gems, as well as shell, glass, pearls and crystal beads. We take pride in incorporating natural materials into each distinctive piece of jewelry. Every one of our creations is made by hand with sentiment, quality and presentation always at heart.

We are constantly thinking about new ways to put beads together so that each bead is enhanced by those around it, and with the intention that each piece of jewelry is a delight to look at and wear. We look for innovative ways to create jewelry without metals for those with allergies and we place great effort in making every item exclusive, incorporating individual, often unexpected final touches so that each piece says something significant about the person who wears it.

OUR INSPIRATION

Our jewelry business grew from a friendship, and lured by the beauty of jewelry, and how color, shape, and texture lend to endless possibilities of design, we created Zazney. I was preparing to sell mass produced jewelry for another company and Dani had successfully been making jewelry for many years. I wasn’t satisfied with this other company’s product and was very disappointed in their primary focus: pyramid sales.

In noticing my love for jewelry and desire to share that with others, Danielle, who had been supportive of my new project, asked if I might feel more passion and interest in selling something that I “had a hand in?” She offered to teach me how to make jewelry and the seed for Zazney was planted. We ran with the idea and started putting our knowledge, passion and creativity together. Before we knew it, every spare moment we had we spent together - where you see one you see the other!

At our first gem fair we looked at every bead - like kids in a “candy” store. This was the true beginning of Zazney. We could not stop putting ideas together and visualizing end products, eager to not only share them with the world but to wear them ourselves as well! Since then we have developed our collection, designed our logo and created this website.

We’d like to take a moment to thank our husbands, Phil & Rob for all their love and support. Phil in his eagerness to participate suggested the name Zazney by incorporating both of our last names, and Rob has shared his talents and time in developing our website.
